DESCRIPTION:Join Ian Marshman for a talk based on our exhibition to celebrate the 80th anniversary of VE Day. \nWe’ll look at life during wartime\, from the experience of local men fighting overseas to soldiers stationed in town. \nThe talk will also explore stories from the home front here in Horncastle with evacuees\, air raids\, and rationing. \nMembers admission is £2\, and non-members £5. \nTea\, coffee and biscuits are available for a donation. \n
